Mural for Research Lab at Hospital Universitaire de Mirebalais, Haiti
Project in partnership with Partners In Health and Build Health International
I traveled to Haiti in June to work with the team I trained on other major projects at HUM, the Mirebalais Mosaic Collective, to create a 20’ mural for the facade of the new Dr. Paul Farmer Research Laboratory, on the HUM campus in central Haiti.
It was a wonderful project and example of the symbiotic relationship between art and public health. I collaborated on the design development with Shepley Bullfinch Architects and worked with my awesome team to execute the project over ten-day period.
